Avoid that Marty
Feldman look!
We've viewed a number of CD-ROM books
in PDF format, and found that viewing them for too long a period
gave us headaches and hurt our eyes. Glaring white backgrounds,
age spotting, and type curling into the center on 2-page spreads,
made us look like Zombies after 30 minutes.
It was at that point we decided
we would not want our customers to suffer the same discomfort. So,
we took another £100,000 grant from the Ministry for Dubious
Projects, and developed our new Pat. Pending format --
created by our own head developer Patrick Pending. Our CD-ROM books
are 'browser readable' and the pages have a nice, soft, light coloured
tint that won't glare back at you while you're reading.
Our Books are
fully searchable!
All of our CD-ROM books are searchable,
just like the originals -- from their Table of Contents and/or Index.
Just click on the item you're looking for -- and you'll instantly
pull up that page on your web browser. What could be easier? (other
than having a servant do that for you).
Say Good-bye to
that Crumb-Jam-Tea effect.
Have you noticed sometimes that you find
traces of bygone sandwiches, cookies, or beverages on the pages
of your books? Well, that's all in the past when you read a Prints
George CD-ROM book.
Unless you've been using your CD-ROM tray for a cup holder or bun
rack, you'll never have to read through Fortnum & Mason's Marmalade,
Earl Grey tea stains -- or, scones gone bad.
