"Would you like some grape-shot with your Beaujolais?"

"These maps of the 'Old French War' show us on a better footing in America. The war began due to a misinterpretation of George Washington's garbled words, owing to faulty false teeth. Croghan, the interpreter, mistook his friendly greeting of 'How nice of you to attend our open house at Ft. Necessity', and translated it into the French equivalent of, 'Your king drinks elderberry wine and uses a bidet for a throne.' Wars have begun over less than this."
